Add pars to hospice story…..cut in as you can.

The Minister for Heatlh, Wayne Berry, denounced the decsions as outrageous and obstructionist.

The NCPA had rejected the ACT’s first choice of site and then had put up technical objections to its other choice on the QEII site in Civic.

It seemed the NCPA never intended to let the ACT build a hospice at Acton. It should have said so bluntly two years ago. As it was families of the dying had been unfairly disrupted and those who would have got jobs on the construction had been disadvantaged.

Independent MLA Michael Moore said the NCPA had over-stepped the mark and it was time to sort out the roles of the ACT planners and this Federal body.
