Getting there. Sit in driver’s seat point car westwards and drive 4000kms or so.
The Nullarbor from Ceduna (SA) to Norseman (WA) is 1200km. There are no towns, just roadhouses comprising with service station and motel.
The three longest stretches between roadhouses are 191km, 186km and 183km. Regular camp spots. Make sure you have 25 litres of water and a couple of days’ food just in case. Mobile phones do not work.
Rottnest Island is a half hour ferry ride from Fremantle. Three times a day. They also leave from Perth.
